I bought a new iPad/iPhone – how do I transfer my domain key so I can use the app on my new device?

If you manage multiple devices, then you also manage the associated domain keys as well through your account’s ACTIVATION SERVER. To move or install your application on a new or different device, just follow these steps:

  1. Sync the old device to ensure all your changes are in your database.
  2. Log into your activation server and delete the old domain key associated with your old device. Once this done, the application can be deleted from the old device, as it will no longer have access to your database.
  3. The activation server will generate a new domain key, so look through the list of keys and select the available/unused key.
  4. Install the application on your new device.
  5. Use your existing username and password and the replacement domain key to activate the application on your new device.
 
If you do NOT manage multiple devices, then open a support ticket to request a replacement domain key.
